As the kitchen is now very much fitted and functional I have been starting to fill it with lots of little bits that make me happy, here’s a list below of all the things I have either bought or been swooning after.
Quinn says so matchstick holder- The cutest little matchstick holder ( and colourful matches) - I mean this can go anywhere really, but I keep mine on the island, next to a lighter so we don’t actually use those matches as they are way too cute…
Addison Ross salt and pepper shakers, Oh the fun I had picking which colours I wanted for these, not only are they stunnnnnning to look at, they work really well too.
Plates, plates and more plates. I have some of my favourites already hanging up, but i’ve got my eye on some more, they are becoming quite the obsession.
My loved, loved, loved one is a fave on instagram, and also one of my faves too.
Who said I can’t cook? plate, I have a couple of Laetitas plates now, and I love them all so much, to be honest everything she makes is a dream,.
Picked up a couple of highstreet ones this week which are patiently waiting to be put up. One for our bathroom, if we ever finish that room and one for the kitchen.

This cute little cherry pie one is so reasonably priced, and I think the little crimped sides are just perfect.
Glassette is also a favourite of mine for shopping for fun independent homeware, and they have so many good plates on there. This little crab one and any of these beauties by Ruth Wilde are on my want list.
I could write a whole newsletter on plates to be honest, maybe I will do that next? but yes this one is one I have my eyes on for a while… it just screams summer, and we all know that’s my fave season.

My butter dish is probably the most asked about item in my kitchen at the moment, and sadly it’s out of stock. I have linked the brand as they do make lots of similar ones, and I will share some more of my favourites below.
love this one and really well priced.
tissue holder - If you love the Alice Palmer tissue boxes, but the budget doesn’t quite stretch that far, then you’ll love this one and at just a £10, I kinda want to put them around the whole house.
rattan tray - for all things rattan, Hastshilp has you covered, including lamps, ceiling lights, trays, mirrors, frames and plenty more! I have their ceiling light in Quinns room and a tray on our island.
I have just purchased these super fun mix match cutlery, I went for the stripe, lilac and yellow, but there are loads of colours, and so well priced!
Last but not least, my beloved egg tray, comes in 3 beauuutiful colours, I think we are all aware of my love for eggs, and my recent obsession with making the perfect scrambled egg & for one wanting to join me, here’s the recipe.
So that’s the first post over and out, I hope you enjoyed! Please do let me know if you like it, and I will make sure to make it a regular thing, now i’ve started writing, i’ve got so many ideas buzzing around!
Love love love the plates - defo need a whole newsletter for plates! Maybe monthly!
